Thanksgiving
We really had a great time. We kept it really low key and picniced at natural bridge KY state park and then hiked and came home and watched movies and have a very small thanksgiving like dinner later on. It was great but we too missed you. In fact this morning Eldon McKay said, " It would have really been fun if we could have called the Schlenskes go with us." Better run Zach is not happy with me being on the computer. Love you guys and we are ever SO THANKFUL to have you as freinds.

Full of Grace
The boys thought you would love these vidoes of Grace, so here they are. The first one is Gracercize. The second we call The Graceful Hat Challenge.
Here is a wintery picture you might enjoy as well. You can't tell much from the picture, but the drift of snow was about 4 feet tall. The boys and Tara and Beth built a snow cave. Most of them fit in the cave at the same time!

We miss you

Thanks Haylee for calling us last week! We sure do miss all of you so
much! We had a good halloween, but it wasn't the same without you. You'll have to check out our new family blog, but I'll post a couple pictures of halloween on here too. Somehow I missed taking a picture of both Dallin and Abel in their costumes. Oops!

The Phone Call (No, not that one)
Thanks for the talk yesterday Ben. I enjoyed it. It was really good to hear how things are going. I forgot to mention that I was called into the nursery. It's quite the change, but tons of fun. Isn't it wonderful how the Lord knows what you need?

Here is a movie of Grace we thought you might enjoy. It is rated PG however, due to some very graphic urping.

Jeff's baptism
We are sitting here thinking that we could be there with you at Jeff's baptism. I'm sure that it was a wonderful day. Let him know that we thought of him and hope that he feels of our love so far away.

Great book that I think you should read
The Alchemist. by Paulo Coelho
I loved it-so did Karl. Very inspiring. You and Ben should read it together if you can.

funny things my kids have said lately
So last night our dinner conversation was all about who has kissed hwo in our families. It was a very funny.
The other thing that I thought was really very cute was the other day Haylee was talking to me and said, "mom, the Schlenske's are such good friends that they seem morelike family that just freinds." so fun!
Help Bryan take care of little Emma. How sad that Amber has to go away, and at such a fun time of Emma's life. It just make me sad.

The Brumwell's
Brian: Karl, you're a total geek now.
Amber: You guys look so happy, and we are happy for you. We miss you a lot, but we are excited about your new career and life in Kentucky. I am delploying for 5 months to Guam and then getting pregnant if things work out right. I made Staff Seargent promotion. Brian didn't. All our love and congratulations Haylee on your baptism. And I miss Lydea in my class.
Brian: Carson, your parents are going to ship you up here to live with me during the winter.
Kristin: The Brumwell's are visiting and we were admiring your pictures etc. We all miss you and think of you all the time.

We thought you might enjoy some video of our fishing last week. We don't have our own blog yet, but have thought of doing one.
Your idea was too good
We started a blog just for us too. Do you have one just for you?

Haylee turns 8

We had fun being with family for Haylee's baptism, but we missed friends. For her birthday, we went to the Blue Bird restaurant and let her pick out two dresses at the Cache Valley Mall (Logan). It was a fun day for the four of us. After the baptism, Megan's family put together a nice picnic. I really had fun because I got to talk to my brothers and sisters for the first time in quite a while.
The new backyard
So this is the new backyard. Lots of green! Carson and Lydea are spending the day jumping on the trampoline. Megan's probably scrubbing the nicotine off the walls while I try to cram some knowledge into my brain. Did you know? Periodontal disease and poor oral health (folks that have 1-9 teeth) show a slight correlation with dementia as we get older. That's a pretty good reason to get out the floss...
So I finally got on, but I don't have my camera hooked up right now and I'm too lazy to go get it. Sorry! We are doing great though. It's so good to chat with you guy once in a while. You are dearly missed! Lots of good people up here, but not one family like the Schlenske's. I think you should start planning a KY trip right now! We'll post pictures soon. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow while Karl studies-if he studies tomorrow night. Take care-Love you guys, Meg

Welcome
Hey Chandler family! We just talked about our own page. We may want to get a webpage, but I knew how to set this up quickly and thought it would be fun. We'll post more later today.
